Building Homes or Extensions/garage extension

Question
Is it possible to add 2 ft onto and existing garage?  I recently purchased a new vehicle and not able to get it all the way into the garage...any ideas???

Answer
Tina, certainly a garage can be made bigger, it is just that some things cost more than some other things.  You need to contact a local builder who can see the issues to help you decide if this project is a doable and affordable.

Some issues:
It will cost more if it is brick.
It will be easiest if the wall that is being extended is a non load bearing gable end.

I know this is a simmplistic answer, but about all I can do without seeing it.
