Building Homes or Extensions/concrete patio

Question
Hi,  my problem is that we have a covered patio and the concrete slab ends at the same spot that the patio cover does, even with a gutter when it rains all the water pours over the concrete slab and everything gets wet.  We would like to get a hot tub and this will be a problem.

We don't know if adding extra feet to the patio cover will solve the problem or adding an extra concrete slab will solve the problem.  Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hi Vicky, adding more overhang could solve your problem but putting up sliding vinyl doors around the patio would be cheaper and much more effective.  That way you can close the room off completely or open it up all the way or partially. You didn't say how your patio roof is constructed so it would be hard for me to suggest an extension without more information ..please feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely bruce e johnson
