Building Homes or Extensions/Car Port Extension

Question
I currently have a 12X31' carport that I had put up to store my 27' travel trailer under. Since about 1wk ago I traded that in on a 5th wheeler of 37' in length. Do you know of anyone who I can buy just an extension of at least 10' so that it will cover the 5th wheeler? Or what would you suggest?

Answer
Hi carol, you didn't say how your existing carport was built but it seems to me that whoever built your carport to begin with could probably be able to add an extension onto it with similar construction so it doesn't look like two different types of construction.  If it is a typical post and beam structure with joist type rafters or trusses for the roof then adding beam extensions on each side and new rafters shouldn't be too difficult.I hope this info helps p,ease feel free to write again regarding this or ore matters, sincerely Bruce Johnson ..bejohnsonconsulting .com
