Building Homes or Extensions/Spots on new concrete

Question
Dan,

Recently, we got a new concrete in the backyard. I's been a month, we have watered it as required.

In some places on concrete there are dark spots that don't seem to disappear.

What would you recommend to do to remedy that?

Thanks for your time.

BK

Answer
B, the initial set on concrete takes 28 days.  If you were soaking or keeping water on the slab continuously as you should have, it will have moisture throughout.  In a building slab this water will leave the concrete at the rate of 1/2"/month.  I think you just need to givwe it a chance to dry completely.
