Question
I'm turning an open loft into a room, and my question is when tapeing the corners to an existing wall. Should I remove any paint from the existing walls before tapeing my corner seems.

Answer
Hi Josh, I don't.  If the paint is semi-gloss or gloss it might not hurt to scuff it up a bit with some sandpaper but total paint removal?  Not necessary..I hope this information helps please feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely bruce e johnson..bejohnsonconsulting.com
