Question
You recommended this product which is a Canadian Company. I have broken parts on my windows (they are 3 years old). Since they are "Reorganizing" do you have any suggestions -short of replacing the windows which will mean that I need to reshingle my home, replace the moulding and repaint the room- of how to get these parts?   I asked them for hle in April of 2011 and got the bums rush from Mr. Steve Hogan.  Thanks as I do not know what to do or to whom I could write a parts request.  (maybe some canadian company will manufacture replacement door handles and parts for my windows?

Answer
Hi Elizabeth. I don't remember that recommendation, however most window manufacturers buy their parts from outsourced suppliers.  Have you been to Lowes or Home Depot? They both carry a pretty large assortment of window parts. There may also be ore window companies in your area with matching parts.  You don't specify exactly what parts you are missing or are broken so that's about all the help I can give at this point.  Unfortunately during this downside in the economy many companies that made their living on supplying to building contractors have gone bankrupt.  It sounds like this company is in that category.I hope this info helps please feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely Bruce Johnson..bejohnsonconsulting.com
