I am looking for a listing of contractors who build preformed slab  homes. I want to build on or close to the beach in Fl. I saw a home built on extreme makeovers where the contractor was from South Fl., it looked all most weather proof. Any information would help. Thanks

Hi Wayne,
I am in Maine, so I don't have a list at hand of contractors in your area.
However, I am strongly in favor of "NUDURA" brand insulated concrete forms.
They are filled with concrete, extremely quiet, easy to heat/cool and are very wind resistant.
You can get on line and type in www.nudura.com and there will be a list of contractors using this product.
