Can you please tell me what the approximate/average cost would be for spray on foam insulation vs. regular in-wall insulation?  We're building a home in Vermont and want to go with spray on, but are concerned about the cost.  Can you give an estimate of a cost per sq. foot?

Sorry, no. The costs vary quite a bit from area to area...
I'd be guessing if I gave you a cost.
If  you have more than one local company using this product, get a quote from all of them. I will say this: you're doing the right thing! Fiberglass is slowly becoming less and less useful with all the newer products available.
Also, consider NOT using fiberglass in your ceiling.....cellulose os foam is much better.
Consider this; any insulation, energy star windows/doors and efficient heating systems are subject to a fed. tax credit..
