Building Homes or Extensions/awning vents

Question
I am preparing to insulate the flat roof of my new addition. I intend to install awning vents but I am concerned that they will be blocked with the cellulose insulation I will blow in. How could/should I avoid this problem?
Thanks

Answer
Would you be ablle to use "proper vents"? (sometimes called
rafter vents)
They go against the roof sheathing and allow air to flow above the insulation.
You could use them in a line from vent to vent...

Good luck, Dave
