gud day

  our house was build 8years ago. i have notice a lot of crack inside our house. is this normal? some of the crack are deep and big my nail could be insreted throughtit. pls help should it be repired? can i have ur yahoo adrees so i can send some of the pic of the crack to you pls do help thnx a lot

Hello Jake,
It sounds like you have a lot of settling, causing the drywall to crack. If you think it has stopped moving, I'd recommend digging out any excess compound. Then applying
some fabric drywall tape and finish with good quality joint compound.
There are a lot of reasons that the walls are separating. Your slab or foundation could be sub-par, your framing lumber could have been wet or of poor quality and the sub-grade (below foundation) earth could be unstable...
