Question
We have a carport and utility room that we are planning on enclosing and making a family room, master bed/bath.  Also, adding 10 ft to our existing kitchen.  How much would this cost... estimate.

Hi Lindsey, for budgetary purposes only you can probably figure on 40-50 dollars a square foot for the work under an existing roof.  For add on work figure at least 60 dollars sq. ft.  Every locale is different.  If you have a basic plan in mind and maybe a sketch with dimensions contact several remodeling contractors and ask them for a ball park estimate.  I hope this information helps, feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely bruce e johnson.
