all wright 1st im building a wood frame metal top an sided shop .what type insulatiuon would ne good to put on top under ther metal ? bubnble wrap has ben recomended.but another freind of mine claime on his shop it wasnt worth a flip .what do you think .oh i live in north east alabama .2nd with in the next 2-3 months im going to start a new house 2 story country stye house im going to live in this house intil they come tote me off.so good windows ,doors ,INSULATION .MY ? SPRAY FOAM worth the extera$,does it do what most say it will ?thanks any other thought on other products u might recamend.such as good but not fancy name brand windows.  thanks

Hi Joe,
I really haven't done a lot of steel skin, wood frame construction, but in Maine a lot of guys use a vinyl covered fiberglas batt under the roofing.
My recommendation for new home construction is the insulated concrete forms. they are foam, easy to use, and in the end are actually cheaper than stick built!!
Go to   www.nudura.com  and you'll get a dealer near you.
these will give you a real good wall insulation, great noise reduction, and if you go with 14" of cellulose in your lid, you (as general contractor) will get a $2000. tax credit!!
Its worth looking into..
