what is the difference between oil bound distemper and water bound distemper.
What does the number of sand paper refer to ?
Hi Raju,
With paint oil based needs solvents for cleanup etc and water based can be cleaned with water. The two cannot be mixed and a primer should be used if coating over the other. You can get test strips to see which your old paint is. Sand paper is graded usually by numbers - a low number is a heavy grit like 40. The higher the number the finer the grit.
