The text above is a follow-up to ...

-----Question-----
Want to install vinyl siding on the diagonal. To avoid seams, I want to install it at a 55 degree angle instead of a 45 degree angle.  Would this look bad?
-----Answer-----
Can you please clarify your question.
I am not familiar  with the term siding?

Answer
UK Construction terminology would class this as exterior cladding or facing .Which Country are you from?
Personally I would try to avoid this and maintain a true 45 degree angle throughout.
10 degrees to the untrained eye would not be noticeable.
It would not look unsightly.
To the trained eye sighting it at windows door openings roof soffit etc..It would look non professional and may or could deter a potential buyer if noticed.
To summarize it is far easier to do it correctly.
Hope this aids your decision
