Hi,
What's the best time to transplant a spirea bush? Is it too late now? We are in Central NY.

If you can still get a shovel in the ground and dig that great big hole, it's not too late. Roots continue to grow and work all Winter. The dormant state of the upper part of the shrub minimizes shock and damage. It's the perfect time of year, just a bit late -- still, better late than never.
