Bulbs/Bulbs in the fall

Question
Someone gave me narcissus bulbs in a planter 2 weeks ago.  They sprouted and are already 4 inches tall.  Can I get them to bloom in the house instead of planting them outdoors?

Answer
Jennifer,

Absolutely.  You will be forcing these bulbs.  Narcissus bulbs have all the stored energy and a pre-formed flower in the bulb.  Let them grow and enjoy.  After they are finished enjoy the foliage and ion early March plant them outside and the subsequent years.

Good luck
