MY SON IS IN THE 5TH GRADE HERE IS THE SUBJECT OF A PAPER HE HAS TO WRITE I CANNOT FIND ANY INFORMATION CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ?
Write an essay- The giant leaves of the royal lily pad are strong enough to hold up the weight of a small child. Research this Amazon plant and write an essay it. Or you could make a book about your findings.
It is probably the giant lily pad of Brazil (the Amazon River is in Brazil) which is being referred to.
Try to look for information on the Internet (google, yahoo, etc) searching for: "Victoria Amazonica" which is the Latin name for this plant.
