Answer
You do not mention which type of bulbs are involved. If it is spring flowering bulbs (e.g. tulips, hyacinths, crocus, daffodils), then in the fridge in a ventilated bag is preferred.

If you are trying to store "bulbs" like dahlia, begonias, elephant ear (dasheen/taro), caladium, etc then storage varies with the requirements of each species. generally, do NOT refrigerate as they are warm season or tropical bulbs. Cool and dry is out of direct sun is usually the recommendation. For tropical bulbs (caladium, taro, etc) store warm and in high relatively humidity, but not wet.

Lilies of the genus lilium (fleshy overlapping scales) should not be stored, but planted. if they must be stored, then put in a ventilated plastic bag with peatmoss sphagnum and put in the fridge.

Expertise

Can answer questions about spring and summer bulbs: selection, soil preparation, planting, fertilizing, designing with bulbs. I can also give references where to buy the bulbs and how to store them. Besides the typical bulbs (tulips, daffodils, amaryllis, lilies etc) I can also answer questions about other geophytes, such as tuberous begonia, dahlias, etc. When to start indoors, light requirement, etc. My experience is in cool season areas, but I can answer questions about warm season areas if given time to research matter.

Experience

Have worked with various bulbs (spring and summer bulbs). I am presently an allexpert advicer on the lawn message board also.
