Question
this is my first time doing a garden, and i purdhaced a calla lilly that was in a pot. I have been keeping it outside and it looks beauyful. my question is what do with the plant once the winter comes. thanks leesa
oh ya i kept the plant in the original pot

Answer
Leesa,
It all depends on your planting zone. Where are you located? Usually Calla Lilies prefer warmer climates above zone 7,but sometimes even in my zone 6(Western Kentucky) they say they will come back, but mine did not. So I recommend you plant it in a good sized pot or even in the ground if you want and leave it outdoors until temps drop below 40 degrees then bring it indoors over the winter. Then place it back outdoors after temps reach 60 and above. If you are in zone above 7 you can just leave it outdoors. Hope this is helpful. Get more info on Calla Lililies by going to www.google.com and type in Calla Lily in the search box.
