Bulbs/calla lily

Question
We live in the Greenville, SC area, what zone would we be?  Also we have a 2 yr old calla lily and it came back again this summer and is huge.  The blooms were beautiful and stayed in bloom about 2 months, but now have dried up. The leaves are still green and now we have stalks that have come out with big green(pods)...I guess this is what you would call them (they look like green peas inside the tulip part).  They are shaped like the flowers but are not flowers.  Can these be planted?  Are they considered bulbs?  Do I just wait and cut them back with the foliage? I just don't remember them being on the lily last year.
Thanks!

Answer
Hi Beckey

Your a zone 7b. I believe those are seed pods not real sure. wait til they turn brown and crack one open. Most bulbs do spread under the ground though. Leave the foliage on til it turns brown then cut them back, what it is doing is gathering food for next seasons growth......and they are very beautiful .

thanks
