Question
when can you transplant daffodils and how?
Daffodils -- 'Narcissus' -- can be transplanted after the foliage dies down and the flowers are spent. You should leave them in the ground until then.
After all is brown and ugly, pull them all out of the ground and store in the basement. Re-plant in late Autumn, 5 to 6 weeks before you last hard freeze. If you plant too early, the bulbs may begin to grow prematurely.
A handful of Bone Meal in the hole with your Daffodils will keep their roots big and strong.
