Question
I dug up the lilies and they are in pots.  What should i do now with them, (feed them)or put them back in the ground? If they stayed there they would have gotten damaged. Our summer has not been the best so anything else you could recommend?

Answer
Hi Jennifer

You can keep them in the pots if you like, just water and feed them on a regular basis and good lighting, and they should do just fine.

In order for bulbs to flower they need to be chilled for a period of time(with very little watering, about once a month)that way they go dormant. Put them in a cool dry dark place for around 6-8 weeks (remembering to water around once a month) bring them out and water generously and you should have your bulbs back and ready for the next season

thanks
