Bulldogs/Frenchie licks paws a lot

Question
Hi Maria - My French Bulldog, Oscar, is 15 months old and has been licking his paws constantly lately.  He licked them a lot when we first got him and we thought he could be allergic to his food.  After some trail and error with different foods, we discovered that he was allergic to wheat, so we switched him to Instinct brand dog food.  That solved the problem for about 9 months.  Now he's back to licking his front paws a lot again.  He has no skin/coat issues and is overall a very healthy dog.  He never gets any table food and gets a treat every once in a while.  Should I bring him to the vet?  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance for your help!
