My male English has become a 1 person dog.  He is 3 years old and he has been increasingly aggressive in the last year.  He has snapped at my 15 year old son, he snapped at my 9 year old son and bit my husband this morning.  We cannot have this behavior.  I have corrected him upon each challenge and he has had tears in his eyes.  He knows he has done something wrong.  He bit our vet (in the face) and now requires a muzzle whenever he goes to her office.   

We had him neutered about 6 months ago to try to end the aggression but it has gotten much worse.  He has started getting out of the yard (digging) and chasing children on bicycles.  I am completely at my wits end with him.  I can't endanger my children or the other children in the neighborhood.  Please help

Geena - I understand and you may need to find a new owner for this boy.  You can change this behavior with a Home trainer who comes to HIS Turf and works with you all.  If you don't have the 40.00 to 50.00 per hour for this kind of help, you may need to find a new owner.  
YOU can look for someone who doesn't have any kids.

Sorry, sounds like you need professional help.   You need much more than just a book, you need home training now.
