Question
recently our American bulldogs eyes and the area around their mouth was bright pink in color.  What causes this?

Hi Robin:  The american bull dog has pink and black around the mouth muzzle area... Also, the eye rims can be pink in color - this is a flaw in breeding...
If the pink areas became very red it is related to allergies.  YOUR bulldog may be allergic to something she is eating or her environment.  

Bulldogs ( american) are Prone to Allergy Problems..  big time!!!

Here are some things to follow:

First, see a VET if the dog is scratching the eyes ... If not, try the following:
