Question
I have a English Bull dog that stated head shaking. They did an MRI and he has water on the brain. He is on Phenabarbital, pednisone and more, They are discussing a shunt but what I have read is scary. Can you think of anything else that might work. He is so special to my 82 year old mom. Thanks
Hello Cheryl- I am sorry about your EBD! I know he can be on lasix ( a water pill), this will help reduce some of the excess fluids.
Sounds like the shunt may be your only options.
You can get another opinion before you make any choices for this great dog. BEST wishes on this...
