Hello iam hoping i can get some info on my bulldog. We try to leave the water bowl down so that he can have it whenever he needs it . Now the promble is he drinks like half a bowl and then walks ways and like 5 min later he throws it up. When it does come back up its all waters there was a few times where some food comes up but iam thinking that is just because he got done eating. We have tried to feed him and give him water like a half after he is done eating. There are days when he is fine and then days where he does it like 3 or 4 times a day . Please help us to help him keep his water down. Open for any suggestions. Thanks

Hi again:  YOU can control the water being offered to your bull dog..
Offer the water every 2-3 hours... see if this helps....
Don't fill the bowl all the way up....just a little less than 1/2 full.  

In between water offerings feed your bull dogs 2 ice cubes... Dogs love to play with and eat ice cubes... You can buy the trays that make shapes and smaller sized cubes... May be fun to chew on and eat!!!

Don't offer water after a meal... Give your dog 30 minutes or more before you offer water...
Give an ice cube or two.... after a meal.

In time, your dog will learn to control the water intake.  You will need to be aware of offering water rations and in time you should be able to put water down all day long.
