hello
my husband states our bull dog smells to high heaven ! as a teen he use to work in a vet and cleaned our dogs anal glands that helped with this. he says in the english bull dog he can not find this gland is it differnt recommended or what ?

Hi Jeannie:  Make a visit to the vet office.  The anal gland on this breed is very deep... The tail goes inside the dog, much deeper than other breeds.  Just make sure there is not infection in the tail/anal glad area...Your vet can show you how to express this glad.  It is not so easy in your breed of English boy...


It would be good just to make sure there is not infection..

Now, as for skin, coat, and smell - your dog could have some yeast.
