Question
We have taken in a stray American Bulldog for two months now. She is between 10 month - 1 year old according to the vet and was somewhat abused but all and all a great dog. Over the last few weeks she has been shaking her head a lot so I checked out her ears and there was some dried blood in it. I cleaned it out with peroxide and a q-tip. It seems to bee there every day. I'm wondering if she needs to go to the vet or if it's just something that can be over the counter.

Answer
Hi Robb:  yes, she needs the vet.... Dry blood and head shaking can mean an advanced ear infection.  YOU will need antibiotic, that only the vet, will be able to provide.

By-the-way...Thanks for taking in this girl!  It was great of you to adopt her.

Bullies have a tendency to get many skin, coat and ear infections...
To reduce and lessen the chance of this :  Get her onto NuVET Plus -
NuVET is the best Bullie Vitamin/Supplement in the USA.
Will stop yeast infections from growing in the ears.
