I need your advice once again! I have an 8 month old EBD that we have had since March.  We love her! She is so spoiled and completely runs the house! Jazzy is our baby and gets treated as such. We recently found out thru a friend that a lady fairly local to us needs to give her male EBD away.  She works too much to give him the proper attention.  He is 5 years old and from what we've been told he is in good health. We will be meeting them this wednesday in order to see if the dogs get along and if he likes us.  My question is... any advice on bringing the two together?  What about once we get home? Our female Jazzy is spayed but the new dog is not. He has been comfortable with kids, cats, and other dogs. Like our baby,we have been told he is not food aggressive. Anything particualar to look for at the meeting? Thaks for all your help!!

Hi Terrie -  It would be good if you met him on your Turf or at a park...NOT on his turf.  Also, I would neuter him in the near future.  It does help to keep him calm and near the home.  He won't want to wander off much.

After you meet him write to me by e-mail and tell me how he acted.
I will have some suggestions after you can give me more info.
