Question
Hello.  I have a 1 yr old American Bulldog.  Around 5 months she started getting red bumpy spots on her underbelly.  I took her to my vet and told him I was currently putting Diaper Rash ointment on it.  The vet told me to continue with the cream and no further treatment was needed.  This summer the bumps are getting worse even with the cream.  They start as white dots, become bumps with pink surrounding, and then they scab over and heal.  I'm thinking she may have allergies since she also itches her ears (she never itches body).  Should I try giving her something like Benadryl?  Thanks!!

Answer
Hello - Well, glad you did make a visit to the vet... I have some help for you.

Bulldogs are prone to allergies!  Here are some things to follow - Please give me an e-mail update in a week or two :  mtnmom@gci.net

Please go to the store and purchase the following:
-acidophilus ( 1 billion CFUs) - give one per day

-Garlic - sprinkle bottle of pure garlic powder - 1/4 a teaspoon or less per day, mixed into his food. ( just 1x per day)

-NuVET Plus - Skin, Coat and Immune System Booster - please go to the site and order a 90 count .... give one per day of this Natural Wafer treat ...YOU Can't find this at the store : Must be ordered here:  http://www.nuvet.com/81098
Tell them order code 81098 . ... They can't sell to the public without this kennel/breeder's code 81098.
NuVET will help to fight off all the Allergens that are hitting your baby... This is a wonderful bullie product...Thousands of bullies are taking it each day...Cost is about .55 cents per day

Last, Benadryl - you can give( 1 )25 mg tablet every 12 hours.... ONLY use this if the rash is bad... NUVET and the other products should stop the itching and rashes. .... and the bumps.

Give it a try and see...

Thanks and talk to you soon
