Question
QUESTION: 4 month old Bulldog mix has a hard time walking she does not want to walk but will do so and when she does she bites at the beginning of the walk, and throws a fit how can this be stop.

ANSWER: Manuel,

You should have your pup checked out by your vet.  Four months old is the age that hip problems show up in bulldog breeds.  She may not want to walk because of pain.

QUESTION: The vet said everything is Ok, could it be her dominant personality?

Answer
Manuel,

Your bulldog should not have a hard time walking at 4 months old.

If she is just being stubborn and doesn't want to walk, you would not see that it is hard for her.

If indeed there is nothing physically wrong, they you need to make the walk a positive event for her.  You should try treats at the beginning and end of her walk.

Hope that helps!!!
