QUESTION: Hi Maria. I talk to you about a month or so about my english bulldog and what he is eating. you had me change his food to wellness which went find but about a week ago he started to get diarrhea. He doesn't have it all the time though. Half the time his poop is solid and the other half its diarrhea. He eats a little over 3 cups a day and is very playful and active. I check his poop and do not see any worms, what do you think could cause this?

ANSWER: Hi Chris, If you did the Change over slowly, you should not see any loose poops... I am wondering if it is a little virus or even worms...

How about you give him some canned pumpkin, ( "pure" no sugar added canned pumpkin): give 3 tablespoons per day for a few days : SEE if this helps, if not, then I would go with a wormer...
How old is this boy?  Can you remind me of if there were any problems with your boy..
I have 1000s of clients and I need a little reminder.

QUESTION: He is 5 months old. There were no problems when I talked to you the first time, I was just asking about some good food for him. Would'nt I be able to see the worms in his poo though? I did get him some Old Mother Hubbard brand treats a little bit ago. Are those bad? The guy at petco said they were wellness.

Ok, yes, the Mother Hubbard are Wonderful snacks....No problem !
Has he been wormed?  Most pups are wormed 2 x by 4 months of age.
You could do the pumpkin a few days - If not help, you may want to worm him with this:
