For one, I'm not 100% sure that my 5 yr old dog is a pure olde english (which, I know is a hybrid). I just got him from a local family who had him for a month and a half, but had to get rid of him because the oldest daughter was supposedly allergic to him (but not the other 2 dogs). They got him from a trucker. I don't know anything before that, but it would be hard for me to beleive that the trucker was the first owner because the dog barks constantly when we go for car rides (and he ate part of my car). He loves riding and seems to understand the term "hit the road", but I was wondering if you know of a way to tame down his constant barking while I am focusing on the road? I've had him about a week, and I know for a fact that he has found his forever home cause he's soooo good otherwise. Just an annoying quirk I'd like to tame down. Any suggestions?
