Question
How often do females bleed per year?  I read the helpful info about the 21 day cycle.  We are new dog owners and got her as a rescue!  She is very mild mannered, but I still have some reservations about the breed's reputation as fierce.  Any info regarding your experience with them is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Pitbull season " heat "
Hi April - she should come into " heat " 2 x per year. I have known many friendly pitbulls in my time.  It depends on how you bring them up and treat them.
