Question
My female bulldog is 8 yrs old and has had some health problems all along. when she is really sleeping and relaxed she lets out a small ball of poop. She just started this about 1 month ago. I haven't called our vet b/c I know he is gonna say bring her in and I just want to be somewhat prepared before I do that. Any ideas what this could be?

Grain-free dog foods can help:  female bulldog -
Hi Michele and family!  This little problem can happen as a dog gets older.
Let's make a few changes in her diet and feeding times.
Can you feed her more of her food in the am, and Less in the PM....?
Last amount of food should be 5-6 pm if possible.
Only a tiny treat at night ( Grain-free if possible)

Also, I would start adding a good Grain free food to her other food:
YOU can mix a 50:50 of her food and the NEW food -  will help her to poop smaller and less if she eats grain free.
The foods you should look for are:  Innova EVO ( reduced fat , if you want );  Wellness Core ( also they have reduced fat) and or the Merrick Before Grain foods.
Canidae also makes a grain free food for all ages and stages.
All the above make a grain free treat, too.

YOU can slowly take her off the old food OR continue to do the 50:50 mix.
