Question
I adopted "mugsy" about 4 days ago and was told he is house broken.  He is urinating in my house.  I was told that since he is not neutered, he might be marking his territory.  Any suggestions? Would neutering help and what do you recommend so he stops urinating in my home?

Hi Christine - Oh, Poor you and Poor Mugsy... Yes, he may be marking...
Also, he may have a urinary infection...very common.
First off - get him over to a vet for a good check up...OK

Also, when he is in the house put a belly band on his penis.  This is called bad boy pants.... YOU can place a maxi pad inside the belly band.  
Take him out every 2 hours for potty - if possible.
When you are not home you will need to crate him or place him in a certain part of the house behind a baby gate???

You may need to re-train him - SEE what the vet says first...
I hope it is just a UTI.

Also, you can do a search on how to clean up pee/ so a dog won't detect it and re-mark...
There are many kinds of products you can use.
