Question
Hi, I have a 3 year old bulldog named chevy. i noticed he started peeing out blood 2 days ago.yesterday i took him to the vet and they gave me some pills to treat a UTI. this morning i when i took him out for a walk he was not peeing any blood,but the minute he saw a neighbor blood started coming out. is this happening because he gets excited? i know its not normal but is it a UTI?

Answer
Robert this is an infection.  It has nothing to do with being excited to see someone.  The urine will have some blood in it at times.  Make sure your doggie kid is drinking enough water - place an ice cube in the dish to keep it fresh.
Also, good supplements will help to keep your kid healthy..
