Question
QUESTION: i have a 8 month english bullie he was fine till about a week ago when he was
playing roughly with a bigger dog on cement the next morning he started to
limp we took him to the vet and they said they see nothing wrong i thought it
could of been his knees but was relieved when he said it was probaly just
sore a week later it is the same we took him to another vet and they gave us
derammex for his muscles and wanted to xray him i think it is arthritis do
you have an idea?????

ANSWER: Well, it is hard to tell without an x-ray.  You can start some good supplements that can help the leg.  A bit young to have arthritis.
What brand of food do you feed him.  Also, do you use any supplements or vitamins?

QUESTION: We are feeding him IAMSpuppy proplan, pet form vitamins from the vet and
glucosamine advanced chronic care pills we just started with both of them, i felt
no reason to get xrays at this point for what i have read about bulldogs they
don't get hp problems it is usually mistaken for osteoarthritis and his knees
checked out good. They have done all the ROM test and he has past all of them.

Answer
Well, all looks good - the vitamins, glucosamine and they did do some ROM exercises on him.   As soon as you can place him onto some Adult dog food - Wellness, Innova Evo or Merrick Grain free are some good ones:  Mix the Iams Puppy with the new adult food/  Do this mix for 2 months and then go 100% onto the Adult new food.
Just make sure you tell your vet any food changes.
I am not an Iams fan at all...
