Question
Hi, I have an olde english bulldogge about 8 months old that way spayed about a month ago.  The spay was done by a laser and she had staples.  Last couple of day, we noticed that there was a solid round mass about the size of a quarter on the bottom of where the incision was.  Do you know what this may be from?

Answer
Mary,

If it seems to have fluid in it, you should take her to your vet to have it drained.  If it seems hard then it could just be scar tissue.

If it doesn't seem to have fluid in it and is not red or irritated, then it shouldn't cause any problems.
