I have a female English Bulldog who has just turned a year old, and has not gone into heat yet.  Is this normal?

Bulldogs are really hard to figure out when it comes to reproduction. They tend not to be normal with heat cycles.

This could very well be normal for your bulldog.

Bigger dogs tend to come into their first heat cycle later than smaller dogs.  I would guess she will be getting close.
