Bulldogs/Frenchie is sick

Question
Hi, I bought a Male French bulldog 10 days ago making him 9 1/2 weeks old and he's come down very sick. He had shown no symptoms until one morning where he was visibly ill. He vomited three times in a four hour period, whined when he pooed and was listless. He has been at the vet for two days and was supposed to be released to me today, but when I got there they decided another two days were necessary. The vet said that he was just dehydrated but hasn't come up with any answer to what's wrong with him. I also noticed his eyes bugging out when I saw him today and he was shaking. He looks so sick, and it makes me so sad. Should I take him to another vet? Any thing you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks, James.

Answer
Oh, POOR little Frenchie!  Ask the vet what he did test him for?
Parvo? Worms?  What are his blood levels?  Results-
Dehydration can happen just from the stress of leaving his mom and the Frenchie pack.
I hope he does not have any of the nasty viral infections.
You can get back to me at my private e-mail and I will work with you.
Also, make sure the breeder knows how sick this kid is.
