Answer
Casandra,

Some people call an English bulldog an "old English bulldog", but they are really talking about an English bulldog.

There is an "olde English bulldog", that has been cross bred to have different characteristics than an English bulldog.

If you indeed have an "olde English bulldog", they do tend to be taller and bigger than an English bulldog.  And they do have some American pit bull terrier in them.

There are also breeders that are breeding crosses and calling their pups "old English bulldogs", but they are not from the original foundation breeding stock.

Here is a great website that explains about the "olde English bulldog."
