Christine, i have a question.  Our Engish Bulldog had a c-section on the 21st of April.  She has been doing really well until today.  TOday i woke up and she had some bloody discharge.  she is still leaking blood.  It isn't bright red but i am not sure about it.  Is this normal.  Yesterday was the first day we let her around our other dog.  COuld the bleeding be from Over excitement and playing???  Thanks for your help.

If the discharge is dark red, it is probably ok.  It does seem like quite a long time after surgery to still be having discharge.

Unless you have bright red discharge, I wouldn't worry.  

Keep an eye on her.  If in doubt, call your vet.
