Question
Our Bulldog had 8 puppies last week, had has developed a bad case of diarrhea.  two days into the diarrhea we took her to the vet and were told that she is under weight (33 pounds) and to feed her what ever she wants. The diarrhea persists.  Do you have suggestions?

Answer
Heather,

Did they check a stool sample?  She may need medication.

I suggest that you feed her a good quality dog food - not what ever she wants.  People food is not sufficient.

Make sure she has plenty of clean water.  If it doesn't clear up, your vet should check a stool sample and medicate as needed.
