Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I have a 16 week old Frenchie puppy who seems to be getting taller and
longer, but not bulkier. She is healthy and growing, just not as muscular as
most others that i have seen. I was wondering if they often start out this way
and fill out as they age, or will she just be a more lanky, delicate Frenchie. Is
this normal?

Thank you!

I love Frenchies....so cute!
I love Frenchies....so
ANSWER: Hi Sam and New French bullie...
This is the time that your dog will look odd for about 4-5 more months.  The legs grow faster than the rest of the body..
Just and odd stage right now.

Good food and supplements will ensure a healthy baby...
I sure do like the following foods and supplements for PUPS-

Innova pup
Wellness pup
Solid Gold wolf cub
and any of the Merrick brands
Make sure you have pup food until 9 months or so.
Some dogs need it until 12 months - talk to your vet about your dog's target weight.

NuVET Plus....

Next - NuVET will ship to your country - ( a little x-tra to canada)
1/2 a NuVET wafers is great for ALL Bullies all ages...
WE have 1000s of Bullies on the NuVET Program.
START with 1/2 per day and once you baby is over 15 lbs go to 1 full NuVET Per day:

QUESTION: Thanks for that reply.
I am feeding Holistic Select Eagle Pack that claims to be for puppies and
small dog. She eats 2 cups a day (as recommended on the package and by my
vet). I met another person with a 5 month old frenchie boy and he was 8
pounds heavier (she is 10 pounds) and much more stalky. I know they are all
different but there just seemed to be a vast size/shape difference.

Thanks again!

Sam

Your food is fine but If you can fing the solid Gold "BARKING at the Moon" Food - I would mix some of that in...
75 % Eagle Pack Brand and 25 % of the Barking.

Just buy 1 bag and see if it help to add some bulk..

In about 6 months you will see some muscle and bulk -
Now is an odd growing time.
All genetics are different.

Good luck guys!
