Question

Bentley Hamilton
My 8 year old English Bulldog has been bleeding substantially from his penis.  It started only at night (while sleeping) and as of today is bleeding while he is awake.  We took him to the vet and they found that he has a UTI, however his prognosis was that these two issues were NOT related.  The blood is not consistent but does include clots and lots of blood.  His diet consists of a raw meat diet along with "Beneful Healthy Life" (to coagulate his feces).  His temperament is completely normal along with his appetite.  He is taking antibiotics for the UTI along with some Hip and Joint pills.  We are very concerned but reluctant to take him BACK to the vet for a huge bill and no questions answered.

Hi Kristi - Yes, the Urinary Infection will come along with bloody urine.  Also, he may have some urinary crystals that can cause the blood symptom.

Glad to see your Bentley is on the Hip and Joint supplements.  Thanks for the CUTE photo of Mr. Bentley... sooo cute - I loveeeee bullies ..

How about adding some ESTER C to his diet : 500mg just 1 per day for the next 3-4 weeks.
Help with healing...

Also, I would love to see you place this boy on the NuVET wafer supplement and a special home-made diet ( you can do raw if you want)
