Bulldogs/English Bulldog puppy has scabs on her back

Question
I have a 9 month old female english bulldog I feed her Now puppy formula (she is allergic to grain) and a week ago I started giving her glucosamine (for a luxating patella).  Two days ago I noticed that she had a scab about the size of a quarter with several smaller scabs around it on the middle of her back.  I thought she might have been scratched while playing with another dog that day, but tonight I noticed that the scabs have spread over most of her back. I was scratching her back tonight and one scab came loose and her came out with it.  Please give me any advice you can on what this could be or what I should do.  I plan on taking her to the vet but am unable to get her there until thursday evening.  thank you so much for your help.

Hi Jessica - Yes, go to the vet and Rule OUT Mange.  If it is Mange she will need antibiotics and some mange medication.  As far as her allergies .....I would love to see you place her on a few supplements - It will help her skin and healing and blasts the allergies.
Bullies have many allergy problems.....

1.  Salmon oil - Please give 1 full tablespoon per day of PURE salmon oil - SEE if you can find the Grizzley oil or the Yummy Chummies - they come in 12 to 16 oz bottles.  Keep in a cool or dry place and will last a long time.  GREAT for skin / Coat/ and patella, too.

2.  Please get this baby onto the NuVET program - GREAT to help repair or reduce swelling in a luxating patella, hips and joints.  NuVET also heals the skin and gets a HOLD on the allergy problems.
