Question
Why is Tylenol not good for dogs?
Is Advil,Excedrin any good for them?

Thank you

Jesus

Answer
Jesus,

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) can be toxic to dogs.

Ibuprofen (Advil) can be used for certain ailments in dogs, but only under a vet's instruction.  It can also be toxic.

Excedrin contains acetaminophen and should not be given to dogs.

Aspirin can be used for pain relief for dogs but again should be use under a vet's care.
