We just got a 14 month old male English Bulldog. The previous owners fed him twice/day - apparently about 1 1/2 cup of dry dog food each time. I am switching him to a highly recommended "natural" food brand. Should we continue the twice/day regimen? Also, he weighs 48 pounds. Is that about right? He is quite active. Thank you

Hi Rick !  Sure, 48 pounds sounds about right on the english bulldog weight chart.  I would still feed him 2 x per day.  You may only need 1 cup  in the am and 1 cup in the pm.
Depends on how condensed your NEW food is.  
Also, please start this boy on 1/4 cup of Canned green beans daily ..... ( the no added salt ones or rinse the green beans to get rid of excessive salt.)
MOST bullies do well on the green beans as a low calorie snack that is filling.
